The Chinese people look for a long life, with 100 as an expectation. The most beautiful greeting is “wish you live until 120 years old!”
120 years, is that only a wish or a dream? No. According to the estimation of scientists, under regular
living conditions, the natural life of human beings is 120 years. Why? According to the biological rules of nature, the life of mammals is usually 5 to 6 times of their life circle. The life circle of human beings is symbolized as the growth of the final tooth, i.e. between 20 to 25 years. Therefore, the natural life of human beings should be 20×5＝100 to 25×5＝125, not less than 100 years, nor more than 150 years. Many scientists have drawn the conclusion through repeated calculation and estimation, that the natural life of human beings shall be 120.
What is a pity is that by far most of the people cannot live until 120. Why? According to the reports of the World Health Organization (WHO), due to the worsening of ecological environment, bad living habits, insufficient physical activities and attention on own health status, the incidence of such diseases as chronic diseases of middle age and old people, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, cancer, liver diseases, diabetes and AIDS is growing gradually every year, which influence the people’s life.
It is obvious that if we try our best to improve our living status and environment, 120 years of life can be changed to reality from dream. Holding such a solid view, Nanjing Zhongke Institute of Biology as absorbed the essence of our traditional medicine, trying to explore the health rules of human beings as well as engage in research and development of modern healthcare biological products.
